Never tighten the lamp by holding the glass, to avoid breakage of the glass. First turn the power off. Guarantees sufficient UVA and UVB radiation during the first year. It is recommended that the lamp be replaced each year. Do not use a thermostat or dimmer. Never use behind glass. Glass blocks the UVB radiation.
